My Story:
In my teenage years, I was in an emotionally abuse relationship, which gradually eroded my self-confidence and planted seeds of self-doubt that went on to grow unchecked for the next decade. Outwardly, I seemed like a confident, capable young woman. Inwardly, I had no love for myself, and this had a major impact on my mental health.
During the pandemic, I finally sought help and worked with a therapist to rebuild my sense of self one tiny piece at a time. Eventually, I realised that I was enough and that my self-worth was not defined by the way other people treated me. I documented my self-love journey in my book, ‘Just As I Am,’ to inspire and encourage other women to acknowledge their inherent value and realise that they are enough too.
Following the success of my book, I set up the Unbreakable Shine Foundation to continue to help women and girls across the country recognise their worth while implementing real, lasting change.
I started Unbreakable Shine because I wanted to be the person I once needed — someone saying, “It gets better.”
My mission is to show survivors that healing isn’t about forgetting what happened, but about rediscovering who you are beyond the pain.
Through every campaign, every workshop, and every act of kindness, I want women to know:

✨ Just As I Am Workshops
Our flagship self-esteem programme for girls aged 8–14, designed to build confidence, encourage positive self-talk, and help participants celebrate who they are, just as they are. Available for schools, youth groups, and community organisations.
